All begun watching the Crossroad festival with Clapton and Dylan playing together their electric guitar... Dylan's guitar left me astonished... "my guitar will be like that" and ...Here we go.
Woods
Body was recovered from an old electric guitar... wood seemed to be clean and allright. I bought the neck from Mightymite.com. It's a 3 wood strat replacement neck with ebony fingerboard. I spent some days to laque the neck top with a black glossy laque. The result was really amazing (of course it worthed a bad nytro smell in the bedroom for several days).
Hardware

About tuner keys, my choice was a set of gold plated Wilkinson autolocking tuners. For the bridge I choosed a vintage style 6 screws gold plated strat tremolo.
Pickguard was a pearly white strat one
Electronics
Here comes the most interesting part... pickups. They collect all my favourite guitar players in a single pickguard

All pickup wires have been shielded with a copper shield (see photos). The wole body housing itself has been shielded using aluminum paper.
Additionally I applied an additional shield over the the Fender Texas special pickup.
Results are really satisfacting (of course it's not silent as an humbucking but is really close to)
In order to reduce all shielding are connected together to the first ground point (near the jack plug). The tone pot uses the classic strat tone scheme with a only customization. I used a Fender deluxe tone pot... its identical to normal ones except for the fact that when the pot is turned to 0 (ideally no tone cut) the signal is electrically disconnected from the RC low-pass filter, so no signal will be router through it (improving, of course, signal cleanliness and noise level)
